　　1、簡(jiǎn)明性

　　話語(yǔ)簡(jiǎn)潔明了，當(dāng)然這是在講話者沒有故意含糊其辭的前提下。商務(wù)會(huì)談時(shí)經(jīng)常遇到此類情況，有時(shí)講話者不想回答對(duì)方的問題，或者故意回避，會(huì)故意含糊其辭，甚至答非所問。此時(shí)譯員只需直接譯出即可，聽者會(huì)明白其中的玄機(jī)。

　　不但指完整譯出講話者的話語(yǔ)，譯文不可缺少原話的內(nèi)容，更要注意不可以隨意添加講話者原本沒有的內(nèi)容。這需要譯員思維敏捷，時(shí)刻保持頭腦清醒。不過這個(gè)“完整”是指特定環(huán)境下的完整。很多時(shí)候，講話者說出一些話，但并不希望告訴對(duì)方，一般情況下講話者會(huì)明確告知譯員哪些話不需翻譯。有時(shí)譯員會(huì)聽到講話者說出一些有傷風(fēng)雅或者不利雙方關(guān)系的言語(yǔ)，而且并沒有告知譯員是否翻譯，這個(gè)時(shí)候譯員可以稍微停頓，詢問一下講話者是否將其譯出。

　　譯員聲音清晰，不可帶有方言和口音。由于中外雙方來自不同地域，不同國(guó)家，無論是中文還是英文，雙方講話不可避免地帶有地方口音，譯員不但要聽得懂，更要用清晰的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)發(fā)音翻譯出來。英譯中自然要使用普通話，中譯英也應(yīng)盡量使用標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的國(guó)際音標(biāo)發(fā)音。

　　口譯轉(zhuǎn)換活動(dòng)要及時(shí)，講話者說完話之后，兩至三秒的時(shí)間，譯員必須開口。這涉及到譯員的瞬間記憶能力，事先可與中外雙方溝通一下，讓雙方盡量避免說起話來不停頓，最好一到二分鐘內(nèi)。如果有必要，譯員需攜帶筆記本，做筆記以輔助翻譯。當(dāng)然，隨著翻譯能力的不斷提高，可以持續(xù)翻譯的時(shí)間也應(yīng)當(dāng)不斷延長(zhǎng)。
